Microsoft released Office Communicator Web Access on Monday. The great thing about it...it is
made available at NO EXTRA CHARGE for folks who own LCS 2005 with the appropriate CALs.

Bob: You have extensive experience with LCS. I have a question about the office web communicator. Can OWC be hosted on the backend SQL server of an LCS Pool. Is that a supported topology?
Kita - Since you did not include an e-mail address there is not a ay that I can respond other than through the blog.
I do not have that answer as I have not tested it. I generally try to keep extraneous stuff off of my SQL servers.
